Most chars have no overcap, but some do, like MBlade by default, or Silverwolf 999. If you activate their ults all they get is their default max energy provided they are below it, otherwise they get NOTHING. (SW in particular makes this very obvious)I don't think Robin's max energy gets increased, largely because that's not a thing in the game. Max energy is a rigid number that can't be touched by anything.Double ults does work for chars that have half of their max energy as ult cost, like Yunli or how Argenti has two different cost ults.
