>>580115842You need to get your settings beyond max with ini configs. The problem with TERA is it's optimized for hardware 15 years old. The main reason why a lot of textures end up looking like shit is because by default the game only holds like 100MB worth of textures in memory. This is fucking nothing by today's standards where even a low-end computer has several GB to work with. If you don't edit the files the game is constantly throwing out cached textures so they repeatedly have to be reloaded.

How do I choose what to main?I was a Lancer in 2015 and I loved the supportive nature of the class and how amazing it was at pvp, however I have 220 ping to this server and manually blocking/dodging is quite difficult. Also, in pub runs, I can't make up for poor party dps.I've played Brawler from 2017 until about 2020, and it feels really easy with my ping. I can hard carry dungeons with shitty dps, but not enough to pass real dps checks. Brawler also has incredible mob clear with bullrush and is genuinely fun to air combo people with in pvp. However, in REALLY difficult content, I contribute nothing. A lancers adrenaline rush and guardian shout is really helpful to an entire party.Any opinions? I was also considering warrior and zerk, but I work 2 weeks on/1 week off so I don't have time to level/gear/keep up on 4 characters, let alone 2.

I don't think I'm good enough to play melee in this game. On slayer any of those bosses that keep moving around suck as you can't combo them properly. Then I kept failing to dodge the boss attacks in Cultists Refuge and fell way behind the zerker in dps. Didn't help that our healer was a retard who didn't even know he could ress in combat. He kept shooting his basic attack at the boss and did like 1% of the damage.
