You have to actively search around the board for what you need all the time. The towers to unlock the arbiter are also too far apart and unlike in poe1 where you are running influenced maps and getting periodic encounters, its just boring white maps until you get the citadel. The mapping content is boring and interacting with the atlas screen is an active detriment to gameplay flow

Reminder that before Exilecon it was unthinkable that PoE2 would be its own separate game, prior to that it was assumed that it would be a separate alternative campaign + engine/game rework in PoE1. EoS is very likely to be announced at Exilecon. PoE1 will be sunsetted, put to pasture, and sent to the glue factory. And everyone will agree that it was the best course of action.

He said thanks and left and went back to never talking to me again. Apparently he had been in a shit flinging match in Legit Dueling jsp subforum with those two spawns we killed and it turned into a 2v2 wager duel and he had literally nobody else but me to pm in the heat of that moment to help him. Poe really overcorrected uniques ftom d2. Yeah the bis rings, belt, helm, gloves, and boots for most chars were uniques because better rares either didn't exist or did theoretically exist but were monstrously expensive and rare. Yeah probably uniques that were just loaded with literally everything you want in a character fhr fcr resistances life and all skills was stupid but in poe they are basically ALL complete garbage stat wise and are designed to actively weaken your character's stats in exchange for enabling niche builds; 99.8% of which are either dead/outdated or never even existed...There has to be a middleground...
