Catalyst'd gear not having static secondary stats now somehow has a demoralizing effect for me. Before, as long as a tier piece had okay secondary stats, that slot was "solved" by a piece of gear with good ilvl. Now, catalyst'ing a piece with good ilvl but shitty secondary stats doesn't make me feel like I'm making an important choice, it makes me resent the choice and makes me hate gearing as a whole.I suspect they changed the way catalyst'ing gear works to push out the timeframe of gearing, so gearing takes longer and people keep playing/subbing.
