Who cares about what TWW40K battles look like? 90% of all battles are going to be Auto-Resolved anyway for 90% of players (as in every TW game).
There is an achievement in Rome 2 to manually fight and win every single battle.

the issue with autoresolves is that they make the game too easy and are typically way too generous. Battles can be very unpredictable and fighting against the engine is a huge issue in these games. Large battles are very dangerous to play because units just stop being responsive. the ai also loves to cheat so playing the game fairly the way it's intended is never in your benefit. but still i kind of wish there was a campaign full of a bunch of scripted battles like dark omen where keeping your finite amount of units healthy and leveled up would be in the game. i recently played through mark of chaos again and had a blast. I don't think I want a simple cape with a fur collar up top. Either the cut of the fabric should leave holes for the arms, as it does on the Mortarch model, where it's worn like a vest but has the length of a mantle. Or (and I think I might be partial to this) simply replace the fabric completely with a big bristly fur cape, like in pic related.Again, I don't think these are big changes and they mostly just add to the visual elements that are already part of the design. But I believe they would create a very different impression from the one he currently makes.
