There will just be new top tanks.However, Magneto and Thing were top tanks because they were the only tanks that had the toolkit to deal with the absolutely absurd level of CC, burst dmg, and aoe healing in this game, and that's all still there. Lower ranks wouldn't even exist in this game if Iron Fist, Iron Man, Scarlet Witch, Blade, Squirrel Girl or Moon Knight was good like Magik. Magik is a brawler who relies on a combo to do actually damage, and even a minor amount of healing can prevent her from getting a kill and leaving her ass out to dry. The other characters you listed alongside Magik are also high skill ceiling characters (except Bucky) and making them weak would make them useless.

Kinda like a skilled version of c&d where if you are playing her right you can be using your full kit while not having downtime on abilities. Currently she can brawl a little too well in the front line while also being able to have a quick ttk. Weakening either is probably fine, honestly the damage is probably better to weaken because either no one or the whole team will look at her when she dives with no in-between.

All any patch that ever touched Magik in the last ~2 years ever did was touch her damage/survivability and she has never once been a bad pick. She isn't unique, she uses her full kit just like everyone else, and she has never once been rendered bad because of an adjustment.
