I would also personally recommend replacing the MP9 with a VSS even if it's just a sidearm. The MP9 fucking sucks, burns through it's durability way too fast with how low the bullet damage is, and you have a billion points on your vest for putting weapons and mags, especially if you're not rocking a bolt action and regular rifle on top of it, which is where the DMRs really shine as a combo with the VSS, especially since a long barrel DMR one taps pretty much everything while you can use the VSS for the few situations where it's unwieldy.

Personally the VSS and DMRs are the later stage weapons but an m4/AK-74/M is a good solid mid game weapon. enemies really hitpoint themselves up nearer the end of the game and you either need to hit more with a nice mid range or hit harder.

>>580481972Yea, that's why I advocate for the VSS + DMR combo, the VSS does a shit ton of damage which means one taps on most things, and you can set it to full rock & roll if you're willing to blow money to stay alive, and for everything that isn't building clearing, a long barrel DMR is the perfect weapon because it's both money and durability efficient. The economy being so fucked really kinda sucked, assault rifles really weren't practical to run as your primary weapon once you unlock the DMRs, because they were slower to kill which means taking damage when healing is expensive and also use more bullets which quickly adds up.

Managed to get ahold of one of the meta neural wristbands. For those unaware, its a wristband released for the meta display glasses last year that works as a controller by reading the electrical impulses in your wrist as you do hand motions.Did some reverse engineering work on the protocol and got it hooked up directly to my computer without needing the glasses. The on-board gesture processing and controls feel quite responsive. It has haptics which helps. You can get raw EMG data out as well but unfortunately direct finger pose is not something that the band itself handles, so that's something I'd have to bolt on later. so Gunman Contracts came out in early access today, game is really really fun john wick larp, visuals are great, there is even half life alyx levels of physical interactions with enviroment, enemy ai is agressive and moves fast even tho sometimes they are a little dumb, optimisation is quite rough for my pc (i get ~70frames on 2400x2600 per eye with my 4070 and 5700x3d on mid settings on avg) soundtrack fucking slaps, there is only like 2 hours of content story not counting endless replayabillity of said levels parts through customizable challenges. My biggest problem with the game is gun reload mechanics, game really forces you to use quick reload by getting your empty pistol to chest to auto insert a mag and press trigger for bolt release, you can also insert a mag normal way by grabbing said mag from around your chest area and then pulling the slide but it feels so fucking inconsistent it drives me insane, even tho i can understand reloads being clunky for rifles and shotties since they are very OP. Overall im pretty satisfied since i only paid like 10 eur for the game in my region
