Your average player could get CE if they dedicated the time to it. Most title players are truly not much better than the average player, they just play 100+ hours a month in dungeons brute forcing keys until they get the io, you can see at the end of a season on their profile how they have hundreds of keys timed, think about how many were untimed plus attempts that failed so they reset thanks to resil. >>580473448bear is pretty easy, especially the moonbuild. if you macro ironfur it basically plays itself, just walk forward and slash. it also has some very strong, very low cooldown personal defensives, and a lot of control over its own healthbar with enraged regen. paladin is a bit more fiddly, shield of the righteous is probably the hardest to maintain basic active mitigation of any of the tanks full stop, it has by far the shortest duration, requires 3 full GCDs to get a 4 second buff which is basically zero window for non generator actions, requires spin up outside of combat with blessed hammer to make sure you dont just insta die in the first 3 seconds of a pull (although i think they added that new charger talent to alleviate that), its healthbar is smaller than most other tanks and its passive mitigation via armor and flat % reductions is lower (though they did just add a flat 8% reduction on blessed hammer via a talent which helps). what it does have are like 10x as many interrupts as any other tank, multiple flat out damage immunities which no other tank has, and its primary defensive cooldowns sentinel and ardent defender are both strong and low CD. it can also glory and sacrifice to save teammates, giving the group a 2nd healer in 5 man content which can be giga clutch (though the bear can also do this somewhat via heart of the wild and regrowth procs). if you play lightsmith you are also constantly handing the rest of the party shields and damage soaks via your armaments paladin has a steep learning curve but a deep toolbox. but shield of the righteous's duration should have been doubled a decade ago, i have no idea why they keep that one in particular at 4 seconds. its asinine. makes the paladin much harder to play than it needs to be for no reason when every other tanks active mit is 8 sec+ or constant like stagger from every button press.

Retail and Classic+ will have its own seperate new content releases going forward because Blizzard doesn't want you to cancel your sub. Normally players will play retail when there is new content but after a couple months they unsub until the next big patch. Classic+ will be the bridge in between so more players will just keep their sub going indefinitely. Also I expect Classic+ to have a lot of modern elements to attract as many retail players as possible.
