Regarding having time to play the game while employed, I managed to strike gold and find a job where I work from home a few days a week and my job is ridiculously simple. I get sent stuff that is flagged by a machine (dodgy comments in emails, texts etc) and if I think they are sus, I hit the report button.That's it. That's my entire job, and I get paid decently to do it. No phone calls. No human contact required. It also helps that this time of year, the suits don't yap as much, so there is less stuff being flagged by the machine.In fairness, I am autismo maximus and my last two jobs were disasters where I got let go a few months into each (one was my fault, one wasn't). Only problem is that this is a contractor job so if they say fuck off tomorrow, I don't have much in the way of protection.To any fellow UKers out there, it's genuinely not your fault. Companies are swamped with a squidillion applications and the only job I managed to keep that wasn't contract work was in 2022. One piece of advice I would give is to try to look for the 'professional' agencies where you live. Obviously, you get the shit ones that are plonked on the high street which is working in factories and stuff, but there is a market for 'better' workers at different kinds of agencies and through recruitment consultants (people with experience in admin, banking, tech etc). Generally, they are paid quite well, but don't come with all the bells and whistles of normal employment since they are an agency.
