My feedback for BSG on the season survey:Current global modifiers are way too light. The armor shortage is meaningless! It has no effect on people's gameplay. Seasonal should be all about impactful global modifiers that significantly affect gameplay. A good example of this was Dec2025 frostbite event. The frostbite effect applied to all players equally, and forced everyone to adopt a new playstyle (spend time indoors, wear a warm hat, bring booze, etc.). It changed the flow of raids and was really interesting. But remember, DON'T ADD ITEMS THAT LET PLAYERS COMPLETELY CIRCUMVENT THE GLOBAL MODIFIERS WITHOUT REPERCUSSIONS. The stupid "extreme cold weather" cuckmask was so fucking stupid, people just grinded them in area and within a week everyone just ran those and raids were exactly the same again.

Therapist and jaeger aren't super important to level, try to prioritize mechanic over them. Ragman ll2 lets you get actually usable armor that can take plates. Prapor, peacekeeper, and and skier all let you buy ammo/guns/attachments without overpaying on the flea. Mechanic has random gun parts and mags as well as ammo later on that are all worth getting his rep up for. Jaeger doesn't really sell anything all that good other than a barter for the tac30 scope until you get skier 4 for vudus. Maybe his bcp fmj at ll3 is nice if you like fal or sr24, but you can also just craft it. I'd say the biggest trader levels I focus on are skier ll3 for his NL DI, peacekeeper 2 for his cheap m4, fal, and sr25 barters, and prapor ll3 for the rpd. You can also get monoclete class 4 plates off of peacekeeper 2 which are really effective and my bare minimum for any kit I run.

PVE has 15 documents per day, but if you pick up a document in PVE, it gets deducted from your total limit of 30 you'd have playing seasonal. That being said, you can still pick up your 15 documents in PVE with zero resistance, which is significantly faster than doing it in seasonal, and then just pick up the remaining 15 in seasonal if you run into any. This way you are guaranteed steady progress with minimum of 15 documents picked up every day. The only downside of this tactic is that the documents in your PVE/seasonal stashes are not shared, so for example, if you need 1 medical document and 1 technical document to unlock and item, and you have one of each on PVE and seasonal, you won't be able to claim the item in either mode. You need all documents for the item in one gamemode.

The SCAR absolutely has lower recoil to go along with it's lower rate of fire, but the M4 in particular is so controllable that it's totally irrelevant that the SCAR has less recoil overall. Even the 416 under tap and burst fire at range is very lethal. The ergo isn't an argument either because you can get some very solid ergo out of even suppressed builds on both the M4 and 416. On Streets, spawned near the car extract, got the Properties All Around doc and Pets pharmacy, looted the real estate building for the survive XP and went to take the car but somebody already took it, walked around the cinema exterior looking for scavs and decided to take Courtyard out. Heard somebody sprinting behind me after flashlight clearing the shopfront that was watching the alleyway and got lit up right before I made it to the Courtyard. I patched myself up, we exchanged shots and I finally killed him with the PB I found on a Factory Scav run. Eventually these individual kills will probably stop feeling so important and monumental to me, I think I'll know it's time to put this game away for good once that happens.

The new Setup accepted weapons list feels excessive. This was one of the only tasks that forced you to use shotguns, which are interesting. and underutilised, but now you can just do it with a bolt-action or VPO-101 instead. And what do you fucking mean the Ks-23m is valid for this now. Why isn't the STM-9?

>>581135042You have to decide which part of the body you will aim for depending on the shells you're bringing: Your armour-piercing/shredding options are AP-20 and Flechete, and to a lesser extent Makeshift .50 BMG and Piranha. Everything else is for face headshots or legs (you could go for the abdomen or something weird like that for the higher damage multiplier, but you're banking on the dude you're facing not having good protection for that area). 8mm Magnum Buckshot has a lot of recoil but iirc can kill with a single pellet to an unprotected head region, I think there's something similar up with the Magnum Express round too but I haven't looked into it, 7mm Buckshot is the standard shot round. All the other slugs are basically flesh rounds with some form of inverse descending hierarchy of penetration and accuracy+damage, with SuperFormance HP being the most accurate and second-highest damaging and RIP being like the Magnum Buckshot option with even greater damage but more recoil and a smaller accuracy bonus.>>581136803The semi-auto options reign supreme for obvious reasons, but pumpguns don't have nearly as intrusive and drawn-out pumps as you'd first expect. Look out for the 6-8 round magazines for the MP-153/5s if you decide to use them a lot. The Saiga-12K is neat and accepts AK parts and a drum mag, you'd get a ton of those from early quests back on the old system. The M3 is semi-auto but is more difficult to spam for some reason which is probably not intentional. Double-barrels can fire from both barrels at once.
