Then she was kept sedated in her tower by the corrupt nobles so they could control her. But finally the brown girl with her who's her bodyguard (and lover) that got exiled returned along with a loyal nobleman who was their friend and who'd also been exiled and they rescued her. The asian girl with them is a heroine from across the sea that they had to unite with in order to defeat the dragons and an ancient witch who was the Queen's ancestor.

So the Queen and the brown girl are canon together, I just added the asian girl for fun. She's pretty much aromantic in the book, though she may have had feelings for her close childhood friend who was unfortunately executed for BS reasons.
