Honestly the leaks sound like a good direction, or at least about as good as is reasonable to expect from the bad position they're in.Ziegler's vision has proven itself retarded. Extraction fans have had their fun getting raped in the rape pits but the market has proven that they aren't profitable in this instance. Now its time to retool this into a proper game. The full f2p switchover as the headline to get people in the door and hopefully the delay gives them time to make enough content that people don't just walk right out again.Rapemode can stay as a side thing for the chronically gaped, and content made for the serious game modes can be trickled in to their playpen when appropriate. I think this game is fun but, there was no conceivable way Marathon was gonna stick the landing. It wasn't going to pull Bungie out of whatever hole they're in, and I don't imagine it will rebound after Symbiosis.The core design of the extraction shooter genre is unforgiving. There are safeguards and ways to basically snowball your economy, but I'd wager a lot of people who quit never got that far into the game's systems.
