If you get disconnected, press escape and select the PvP or HC realm, once you log in, swap to normal realm. The server itself is fine, login servers are very difficult to get through. It is their makeshift DDoS protection until new hardware.

I hate Blizz and it's basically retailified Classic but I know it's gonna be fun for like the first month at least so I'm going to play it. Therefore there isn't much point in continuing on Ravencraft just to abandon it in two months. Not cucked enough to pay to beta test a game though so I guess no WoW until it releases.

I've been talking about this server here for a few weeks and most of you simply questioned why I would play on this server.

I'm not here to gloat - I actually understand your questions and I feel that for the vast majority of you wow boomers you wouldn't get anything out of it. Chromie is a blizzlike WOTLK server with minimal changes made to it. For someone like me who is experiencing wow for the very first time, it is the perfect server. But I can totally see how if you've been playing for a million years there's nothing really that special about chromiecraft.

Regardless, I am happy that the server is picking up, maybe I will actually be able to join an active guild and experience raiding.

If you play on the Warrior of Darkness realm you can get a full heirloom set by questing to 110 with the 15x rates to play with on Evermoon or Tauri.
I think once I buckled down my levelling took from 50-110 about ~5-6 days, but I got distracted a lot: WotLK 60-80 was 2 days, MoP 80-90 ~1 day, WoD 92-101 was also a day, and Legion took about ~2 days.

This stupid statue in Bloodmyst hasn't reset for me despite it being a couple days and I deleted my WDB before logging back in and it's still borked.

I think BM Hunter might be better to level 1 - 110 which takes about ~4 hours, and since you won't have gear for the first 80, the pet does everything, and you'll end up with ~30k instead of ~15k.
Just quest to 110, and you only have to do the Legion class hall + 1-2 weapons if you don't skip the Tanaan Jungle intro
