They should have made the servers global. A really easy fix to making the world feel “alive” is having a world where there’s always someone awake and logged in trying to do something. You would still mostly raid and do group content within your locale because of time zones but you would never have “dead time” to worry about. People that work weird schedules don’t have to choose between keeping their job and sleeping properly or raiding their favorite game. Seeing as they didn’t do it now we’ll probably never get that, which is a big mistake.
