Someone asked who would play melee hunter?When I played vanilla WoW, my first character was a hunter. This item was my first rare weapon for my hunter. I immediately tried to PvP but I ran into a problem. Beast Master spec was shit because I had the black and red scorpion from Durotar and didn't know how to level its abilities. Marksman was shit because I had a crappy green bow and enemies kept closing the distance. So I respect to survival to make the most of my spear and that's where I found my niche. I activate Aspect of the Monkey, laid my traps and threw out as many raptor and mongoose strikes as I could. Getting berserking up to a decent level even let my weapon proc.Was it competitively viable? Not for anyone but me. But I had some of the most fun ever while playing WoW and I intend on honoring that memory by resubbing and shitting up battlegrounds one more time.

Instead of Tier 1 gating Tier 2 through raw power, Tier A can drop good resistance gear for Tier B, while the non-resistance gear power level is relatively flat except for rare drops and end-boss drops.
