Have codex set up tools, extract the script, and make sure to have a spot for the en script side by side with the JP script, along with a list of sprites visible for better context. When prompting it make sure that it actually uses the context of the whole scene, and do reviews on a higher effort level.It can verify its own work by installing the patch and testing it, and do engine work by modifying the .exe or creating a .dll. It probably doesn't matter for easy engines like Kiri Kiri, but the engine liar-soft uses isn't the best, so it had to do reverse engineering with Ghidra to get things like Ruby text and italics working in English.Image editing really helps too. Tell it to extract all the images. Then have another session translate every image with text via image gen or image gen for cleaning+inkscape for text, and then have it reinsert the images. That's where you really need to test though as things can clip or look bad, but having properly translated buttons looks nice. Make sure it writes down what fonts its using so if you want to add things later (I added a toggle to switch to the original logo copy the Schwarzesmarken guy) that it can match the other work it did.Beyond that make sure you have a glossary of character names, their speech patterns, and things like specific terminology. This game just uses kana for the names, but others might have specific readings you need to spoonfeed it.

Your recruiter will tell you to take the dlab(shouldn't be an issue for someone in your profession to pass but do some practice tests to get a feel for it). Keep in mind that particular afsc has possibly the longest training pipeline with almost a year in tech school. But that would be your best bet to secure a relatively in demand(for now) specialized job in the military.
