I was doing some benchmarking because some guy on leddit said if you block dota2.com website you get more fps and I didn't see any change at all, I have a firewall so I blocked it on the firewall did the tests and saw nothingthe game is really fucking weird too because my monitor is 180hz so I cap the game at 189 fps and it usualy gives me flat 180 while gaming, so I uncapped everything to do the testing and the different between rendering 180 fps and rendering 400+ was the gpu only pulling 30 more watts and the cpu 15 more watts, basically the scaling of fps is insanely good, whenever they start making 500hz ultrawide monitors I will buy one because it's easy to render all that fps basically

In mid, I can play with aggro, I have highground, the lane is not long so I cannot be pressed that hard, I get to have armor and regen if the wave shoves into me and the mid wave cannot be pulled so you have a lot more control over the wave than you do on the sidelanes.If I pick pos4/5 and we have a bad lane by draft, what do you do to cope? You cannot trade and come off well. What I usually do is try to interrupt pulls, use my HP so my carry doesn't lose as much and buy myself regen because shared tangos are now worthless, so I assume that is the right choice.You have to accept a bad lane and suffer, is that it? The problem with that is that I am a mid player so I am fine with losing matches that are skill/pick based but when there's 4 heroes involved on a sideline I can't shake the feel that I could be doing better and that there's too many things going on.
