You were WAY tankier in pvp gear but has less burst. YOu'd generally beat pve geared people and you'd always beat them if there were healers involved, the extra hp giving you endurance they lacked so basically if they misplayed once theyd just flop vs guy in pvp gear being able to survive stunlocks and focus. the tradeoff is that in pvp gear you will always do FAR less damage. Certain classes, obviously tanks, can get away with it. Druid can just vibe in pvp gear for eternity, but like mage or rogue, you'll do fuckall for dps.

I played druid and stuck to dps and healer roles but once we lost a tank mid dungeon and got preassured into tanking few pulls until we find a real tank. I ended up tanking the entire dungeon, carrying tank gear in bags, tanking the next one and the next one. It was fun and honestly a lot easier than I anticipated. Few pointers: Check dungeon last boss level and never be more than 2 levels below it because. Have a map of the dungeon open in browser in case you get lost. Always start with small pulls to feel out the group damage. If they defeat them quickly, feel free to pull a bit more but always have your eyes open for patrols. It's fun!

Some of the new talents have me worried about endgame, bros. We already know they made raids a bit harder in SoD, I remember BFD being puggable but I didn't play later on and I heard some of the raids felt like they weren't puggable. Now I don't mind this change personally. I loved Challenge Modes in MoP/WoD and I loved doing mythic raids in WoD/Legion and going for cutting edge. But I feel like this will hurt the casual playerbase a ton if they make the raids as hard as they were on SoD for Forever. Maybe it won't be so bad with smaller raid sizes, but they still plan to keep some 40mans in from what it seems.Now what do I mean by the talents worry me? For example Cutthroat for Sub. 15% chance for Backstab to make Ambush castable outside of stealth. We don't know if there is an ICD or PPM associated with this, but 15% is a low chance and procs are part of the retail gameplay that Classic players tend to not like very much. Now if the fights were intended to be Classic level of difficulty, a 15% chance to ambush is a dead as fuck talent. Bosses die way too fast in Vanilla until Naxx and so many people would be so fucking mad when they finish a fight without a single proc. Sub would be a dead PvE spec once again, even though they made this talent specifically for PvE (because in PvP this is a joke too when you can go prep/cb/imp sprint). So I think they are planning to make the fights a lot longer.This isn't the only spec that has a proc based low %chance talent geared specifically toward PvE either. A handful of specs got proc based shit. So I have a feeling the raids are going to be SoD-esque and I'm worried it will kill the game long term for all the bad players.

I can't decide between Troll, Orc or Tauren Shaman... Resto/Enhance specs with herb/alch.Tauren: Herb racial goes well with alchemy. Huge size is awesome for showing off gear. Orc: Most classic shaman vibes. Racial is great for enhance but doesn't boost healing.Troll: Berserk benefits both specs well. Troll vibes well with tribal shaman aesthetic. From a pure money making and coolness factor Tauren wins. But for pure PvE efficiency I think Troll wins. For rip and tear enhancement the Orc is sick. I'm really torn.
