Someone mentioned a translation being stuck for 15 years in another thread and I remembered LOE's translation of Junketsu Megami-sama. It's lterally been stuck for about that much, too , because he can't figure out how to put the text in without the game crashing a lot. CodexGODs you should take on this project.
