After playing some SWG private servers I have come to the conclusion that WoW would be improved by having no BOP items in the game. It incentivizes running more dungeons, because the items have market value. Good gold sink, something the game really needs. Stimulates more players doing the instanced content and socializing.

Nobody actually does wpvp like they used to, hell the only reason anyone even did the SSvTM battles was because it was the only real way to do it before BGs came out. Even in original vanilla, once BGs were released wpvp effectively died overnight outside of people ganking players 20-30 levels lower than them. If you want to pvp just do BGs, it's what everyone else who actually wants to pvp and not just gank does.
