If the avatar was truly a decision for the sake of the story, then it was a gigantic error. If it was some commitee decision then they just murdered the shit of this game. Anatolia's story was probably very Agarthan and thus inconsequential to the rest kinda like Dietrich's so it got successfully removed but Bertrand and Talimun's are still big players regardless and their perspectives seem crucial, Orchel's also seems like it would have shed some light on everything around Yu Phas.
