Just finished it. Overall rather confusing in some aspects still, clearly we're missing crucial info. I really enjoyed the format though, even if it took a good freaking while to finish, I enjoy the little extra dialogue you get between the sinners and by exploring stuff, or just inner monologues. That and I'm used to RPGmaker stuff, so it felt right at home for me.Anyway, I guess "Those who fear" being necessary for the position of giants has something to do with whatever the fuck seems to stalk them and force "their own gaze" to fall unto them, which drove Meursault's mother crazy and begging for death. Maybe the fear requirement feeds into the system because, since they work on concepts, and meaning, having the voices that guide them carry fear into their narration, infuses those inside to maintain their fear and pursue only paths that are laid out by fear, thus maintaining the status quo as much as possible, in order to keep the system running.Also, doesn't this mean every single slop made is partially infused with Carmen now?
