Someone made am imteresting post that I thought was spot on the other day, listing all the TM protagonists and their mental illnesses or psychological disorders. Shirou for instance feels almost comically off with his excessessive altruism/selflessness (or his wish to be a 'seigi no mikata'), then you realize he definitely has survivor's guilt and how that plays into his motivation as something deeper than chuunibyou which he should have grown out of it by his age.It feels like every TM character does indeed have a mental disorder which gives the lens to understand how they think and acts, which a lot of the time does feel nonsensical. Everyone is fucked in the head in some way basically.

A huge cast of cute girls of all archetypes, actually pretty detailed worldbuilding, plenty of side characters get their own arc/ limelight and development, and plenty of cool fights plus plenty of arcs of the characters going on fun adventures. Not many action shounen manages to nicely balance all those aspects.
