And that's a wrap. I was considering going for Long Victory, but then I saw that I'd need to kill fucking Kairos of all lords for that, and I'm not going to spend 10 turns sailing down to him. This campaign sucks. This faction sucks. Plagues are a terrible mechanic, the bonuses aren't anything noteworthy, and the stupid, non-lore accurate, max 1 plague per army/settlement limit is crippling the fun factor, and so is the cooldown (because apparently even Nurgle has a limit on how much sickness he inflicts), enemy armies borderline ignoring attrition on Legendary doesn't help. Overall, Plagues are just Grom's Cauldron but worse, no ingredients to hunt for, no unique effects (explosive Goblin arrows for example) all the symptoms do is boost your stats, with just a single one giving you an ability: a bound version of a spell with one use (non overcast, of course). The cyclical recruitment buildings are neither fun nor engaging, I circumvented the mechanic by just recruiting lots of lords early, otherwise my expansion would've happened at a glacial pace. As for the LLs, Kugath is a bog standard Great Unclean One except he has a pretty good ranged attack, Tamurkhan is so insanely tanky he can solo armies, Epidemius is a complete meme any generic lord is better than him, I don't know why he wasn't a legendary hero. The fact that this is the faction AFTER the rework, is both grim and grave. Nurgle feels like he was designed in a day, making of the art assets included. Tamurkhan is obviously the best campaign, but for all the wrong reasons, his campaign mechanic has absolutely nothing to do with Nurgle, you could've given it to literally anyone. If you want fun Nurgle, play Festus.Glottkin being yet another addition to the already incredibly bloated WoC is obviously CA realizing that nobody will buy them if they're part of the dogshit that is Nurgle. Rework, NOW!
