Then you've got the low dependence and finished/cancelled games, these are the budget indie titles and minor titles that may have reached the end of their life. This is your random FOTM platform or traditional fight, or games like 2XKO that has just dropped completely outside of it's remaining competition.You've got some games currently out that are in the confusing mix between the categories or are too early on to tell, such as Strive still getting updates, or the confusion around the success or failure of Tokon.We don't really know what the future of the genre is looking like, because the only major fighters on the horizon are VF6 and DOA7. Then there's the new ASW IP which we know nothing about yet. I'm curious to see how it'll change from here. There could even be some renaissance for a fighter that might appear out of nowhere, no one can tell.
