The Fell Xenologue added 5 more characters, each with 5-6 more supports each, bringing in 28 more for nearly 300 supports total and while the quality of these supports ranges from C L A N N E to actually decent, a majority of these supports do give us more detail on these characters, likeable or not>FW Launches September 17th, 2026, no DLC on launch or even any official announcements for DLC. With barely any fucking supports, with most non-important characters not even getting more than 5 support CONVERSATIONS, not full pairings from C-A with most others not faring much better if they aren't attached to a lord's group (or named Goliath) This leaves most of the cast to be less going on than fucking Lindon somehow which is fucking baffling>the only real reason to focus down a specific character in the late game is for the S rank. Said S rank lacks a CG unlike Engage, 3H, Fates and Awakening, are seemingly even more stripped bare of romantic subtext than even EN Engage (raped by treehouse) and they make you WORK for this shit through bird-time because the protagonist is a BIRD for 70% of the game>This doesn't even account for shit they added later including the well for FREE but that really wouldn't be fair to compare and include minus the characters because FW has a giant roster with fuck-all to do half the time. Honestly, the lack of supports is disappointing but I think the main reason is that a lot of the character arc stuff is in the stories instead rather than shoved into missable supports like 3H.Like Dietrich and Fabio have characters arcs IN THE STORY which is much more effective IMO. The drawback is that anybody not involved with the story is a nothing character.This was kinda a thing in Three Hopes too, Felix's character arc was actually part of the STORY of Azure Gleam rather than being support fodder. Like the retainers, secondary siblings, Yunaka, etc and only exists in supports thereon after.Unlike this game where the main cast keeps being relevant thorough the main story.
