Just got done with S3C1. I hate the slog that is the story segments of this game sometimes. Constantly starting and stopping. Running to fights, running to cutscenes, fights turning into cutscenes, ANY of those things connecting to a tutorial. The flow of everything is just downright awful, and needs a ton of streamlining. And that's even without how repetitive and drawn out dialogue and scenes about various subjects can be.
