After having played a bit more, I've come to realize that the reason why the sub lords support list is so small is because they're not even truly playable. The playable lords also get paltry support lists if you bring them to part 3 via paralogue only, this is essentially the state that the sub lords are permanently in. When you start part 3 you even see them behind the 4 playable ones with their backs turned, and theres no way to make them face forward (for the main lords you make them face forward by doing their route). It's ALSO the reason why none of them have support with Eshmel, because the 4 main lords don't unlock the Eshmel support convo unless you finish their route. In other words, the game is currently coded in such a way that there are still flags for route completion for the 4 sub lords despite the fact that their routes don't exist. So to everyone's immense shock because they have absolutely never done this before, IS didn't rework the game to make the sub lords fit in more naturally and instead decided to release the game in a LITERAL unfinished state. It actually makes more sense now why they haven't announced the inevitable dlc yet, because they knew they'd be flamed for using it to just finish the game instead of adding new content. All they had to do was make the sub lords recruitable in part 1 and give them their full support lists but I guess they couldn't even do the bare minimum? I'm also now realizing that this is the reason why Gaitz is only recruitable by doing a paralogue that's only available for a single day on one route. Because the game still assumes that you can easily get him by just doing Bertrand's non-existent route.
