I know this is essentially the skyrim general, but I need to yell at the clouds.Morrowind's modding scene has been quite good for years, because it has been a small and dedicated group. If I had a bug, I would message the mod author about it and they would fix it, or I would just message them the fixed/patched file and explain what I did, so they could just upload it. If I wanted a feature in MWSE, I'd just message merlord or null and they'd put in a commit to add it. If there were general compatibility issues with a mod's design, the mod author would be told how to change the mod so it could play well with other mods better so it would appear in more load orders. Danae is shite at modding but she's great at being open to new, better ideas so her buggy mods end up being amazing frameworks because she cares about the modding community.Well OpenMW has destroyed that community and sliced the playerbase in half. Over years, the general consensus had been approaching the game as a vanilla plus experience, because those still playing the game actually liked it and just wanted to improve on elements. There were some great clusterfuck overhauls which were applauded, but few did more than test and appreciate them, while trying to refine the base game. Now, there are dozens of mods being released each month. Many are OpenMW only (not because they have to be, but because new players don't realize how compatibility works) and many more do things that have already been done for twenty years. And now, AI mods are being made which add buggy modern features and bugs and criticism are simply deleted from the posts. i think ive given up on the dream of ever having skyrim running perfectly.Someone made an open shaders with fixed frame gen and pre upscaling NR and the fg bit is good but the pre upscaling NR isnt that hot compared to others ive tried.
