Reverse undertale theory is right for the wrong reasons. The general idea is there, yes. Undertale’s parallel story and all. But the game isn’t doing that in a rigid area by area formula because 5 puts a wrench into that. You can point to mew mew’s dating sim gimmick or the flowery face puzzle and the ruins door at the end but it’s not supposed to be completely snowdin. It’s just a hodgepodge of nonspecific undertale callbacks. Chapter 6 is doing snowdin by way of a castletown covered in snow.

For those that don't know, it's a "Multi-game randomzier" which is to say, items in player's games are randomized across the games of every other player. (I.E. Player A picks up the Toy Knife in Undertale, but it's actually Player B's Shadowmantle in Deltarune.)The main advantages are that anons can play any of the supported games they want, and not need to make an account, only use an alias, so the anonymity can still be mostly a thing. Plus there's a 30 player limit, way more than we'll ever need. AND these games can be played asynchronously so players don't have to all be on at the same time or anything like that.The downsides are that there's no 'hot-joining' so you'd have to get in at the start. It's also a bit of a commitment, but if a player wanted to drop out there's an option to "release" all their items trapped in their world.This idea is pretty fresh in my head so I'm not sure if there's any obvious issues with this that I'm missing but it could be something cool to do you with you all.Here's their silly website if you wanna read more.
