Fortune's Weave is a bit of a "throwing the baby out with the bath water" situation in regards to Engage. Like obviously they needed to fire the writer and the artist, which was a good move, but they also swung hard back into tedious RPG shit. I don't know why it's so hard for them to keep the fact that Engage cut back hard on the hub tedium, but also know that the art/writing was unacceptable.The pendulum swung back too hard imo. It makes me wish Pikazo+Komuro were never put on Engage because if it was a normal looking FE game with 7/10 writing and the same gameplay it would have been a huge success and a better model for the series going forward.
