I have never played classic except for very briefly when it came out. I wanted to play forever when it comes out. I plan on playing a undead warrior. How was tanking back then? I only desire to play a tank and warrior is what I liked most. I have played retail and I do like tanking but I just don't like how formulated doing instances and M+ in retail is. Everyone expects you to know all these shortcuts from streamers and guides and I just don't enjoy that. I also don't like how the whole dungeons in M+ is just non-stop chain pulling and "giga chad pulls". I wouldn't say I am a great player but I don't think I am awful. I am attentive and like to learn my class. I just don't enjoy some talking head telling me everything to know about my class and doing what feels like they are playing it for me.

The idea that Quel'thalas wasn't completely destroyed and abandoned and there were still belfs hanging around and not only were significant portions of Quel'thalas basically fine and untouched by the Scourge, but half of Silvermoon was basically fine was a massive retcon for TBC. In fact, it's such an absurd retcon, it still makes me think that they must have originally intended for the Draenei and Blood Elves to start in Outland and having them start on Azeroth was probably a decision they made on the fly and shoved on the creative team with little warning.

But for the Skyborne quests, holy shit, the writing is so bad and so cringe.
