Anyway here are the mostly final results for the professional book. It missed the final 10%~20% of the text but this is good enough I'd say. Impressively low amounts of tier 3/4 errors, but a frankly devastating amount of Tier 2 errors. We can extrapolate to say this one single book had around 1,000 distinct errors, or if one is super generous 500 errors. And yes I'm a JOP so I scanned the results to confirm they were actual errors and not hallucinated false flags. The 2.01 error weight and 96.41% weighted score are pretty excellent for humans, but nonetheless rather severe in terms of impacting the reading experience; in general one can expect every paragraph to have a problem of some kind. BTW the funniest shit is that the three class 5 errors are all them just completely cutting out paragraphs and not translating them at all. One of the paragraphs is describing a thin college girl and saying like "she honestly looks like a child from behind, especially due to the lack of meat on her legs." I presume that the translators found this passage objectifying/creepy or something so they just completely sliced it out with 0 attempt to be elegant. 2026 critically acclaimed award winning novel translation btw.
