This is in fact more of a detour than the blue fire thing since you can at least figure out you have to bottle the fire on your own even if it's a little cryptid if you never saw it in the shop, you can save king zora just going from the zora realm to the cave back and forth and then you are ready for the water temple, but you can't do that for the forest one, you absolutely have to go to Kakariko for that.

what was the point of fi? I mean aside from being tutorial character and the master sword soul. Like when nintendo was putting together the uncanny singing animation and vocaloid voice, what were they thinking about her personality, character arc and so on? I sort of like her, but she also feels like a nothing character an was effectively just filling the role as previous zelda helpers. Except Ninty also wanted her to be super important as the master sword, but not doing much more with the character.

Been playing skyward sword on an emulator, its the first zelda game i ever played as a child but i never beat it. Feels fun but extremely easy now i guess i was too stupid for the puzzles before. It's about making your own future without depending on the past, nothing to do with any broken reincarnation cycle
