>>582520346It's the obvious path for his character to take, Meursault's only judgement so far was telling Dante to smack Carmen's mouth and tell her to shut up/put fingers in his clock-ears and go lalalala even Carmen calls him out on this, though I also find that Part 3 will become partially Sinclair-focused as well, Meursault is obviously The Stranger so being estranged from the group on the basis of Dante siding with Carmen against his judgement fits him, but Sinclair's source material also requires him to transcend existing bonds and be more individual, having him also estranged from the group because Kromer is part of the equation would fit him, but it is also likely Meursault won't have a Priest moment and he will just stick to his guns and dislike Carmen because she's annoying (his complaint was she was talking too much first time they met) and not out of any deep motivation, or rather than as Carmen believes that Meursault wishes to be heard, he will go the 'greeted with cries of hate' route and wish for antagonism against the other rather than understanding, but that seems too radical for his character, who knows
