The harder maps are all just solved by waiting for reinforcements or relying on overly powerful lord powers. The recruitment system inherently limits flexibility and customization. Supports are uninteresting outside of how cucked each character is. The overall story is incomplete and this leaves nothing of value by the end of it. The map and Dagison systems are extremely straight-forward and easy to abuse, but tedious to do so. The dungeons are so mindless and brain-dead that even RPG Maker games put it to shame. The skirmishes are even more empty with 90% of the map being empty tiles.The list goes on and on. Nothing in this game has any real meat to it because everything is spread way to thin and not fully fleshed out.

The early maps have great designs that would be awesome on later stages, but kind of suck when they are supposed to be easy. With the reverse being true where some of the simple late game maps would work well as early maps, but suck as late game maps (because they are simple, but just rely on enemy strength/quantity).Which is where my sentiment of them being "too easy" came from. Less that the early game shouldn't be easy, but that it's a waste of good design on maps that should be easy.
