I just finished Forgor Land (100% too), easily my second favorite Kirby game right behind Planet Robobot (I prefer the robobot armor to mouthful mode, also the soundtrack and the story itself). I still appreciate the fact that FL on Switch 1 never had the hammer glitch patched out despite the fact HAL 100% had to have seen it at some point. The fact you can still do it even after the update that added Switch 2 Edition support so long as you have the enhancement pack off does genuinely make me believe it was probably a frame rate thing more than anything. Although, it does make me wish it was possible in the S2E still, mainly because I'm curious if multiplying Meteon and all the wacky graphical effects he uses in his fight would manage to kill the performance of the game by overlapping them (thinking of stuff like the reflection on his arena which he can disable and re-enable when absorbing the crystal energy and the like)
