Race and class mix closer to the RTS. Night Elves for the Alliance, Goblins for the Horde, Hunters for Humans. Racials were reworked - for example, Dwarf Stoneform also increases all magic resistances, as it did for the Mountain King in Warcraft III. Undead are treated as actual undead: vulnerable to Paladin and Priest spells, immune to Fear and Charm (Polymorph still works on them, as in WC3).
