I think the RPG fights are pretty fun but the game lets you get too overpowered too quickly. It's like, only partway through part one and you're shooting out extra attacks on every button press and all that. By the time they introduce actual rpg world boss fights it's too late, I barely paid attention for the pre-boss overworld fights for the thread king or brand manager or blackthread or anything, because you can just mash through them
