The Fire Emblem series used to be a mostly non-anime fantasy war story drawn in an anime style. With Fates, the phone game, and Three Houses, the game started being extremely weebified. One-note anime trope characters, all the breeding mechanics to make future kids, literally a dating sim where you can marry your former student, etc. Wildly over-designed characters. Probably don't even need to mention how the phone game is weebified.The gameplay is still top notch for me, but I just couldn't deal with the turbo anime the series turned into.
