Canto 12 foreshadowing
limbabs analyse every retarded shit but I've seen virtually nothing talk about the scene that starts this damn canto explicitly dropping nukesverg casually says that actually, we could just grab any bough without problem if we wanted to, but that would have no point. meaning, us struggling is the point. but why? why do we have to struggle? this got me thinking about what even the point of the last canto was. limbus planned the attack, limbus set these events in motion, but we didnt get a bough out of it. so, wtf was the point? was it just to get the house of spiders? to help ryoushu, make her stronger? and how does this relates to limbus having to struggle in general?if I look at all the cantos, the struggles helped some sinners grow, but mostly they helped dante grow. so my first idea is that the plan for limbus is to develop dante, have him awaken these sephirah powers.and then when you think about what limbus wants to do with the boughs, my theory is that limbus is recreating the seed of light project and dante is their placeholder/filler for the sephirah. he's gonna have to awaken all these virtues within themselves.
