I really don't see the issue with being able to drive and shoot in the tank? They're both not incredibly strong on health and armor especially on bots it still dies quick, and no rotating turret you still gotta turn and reposition it I think its fairly balanced honestly

Two high charge shots to the foot tip or thighjoint of a harvester is lethal. I don't recall the breakpoint on stingrays but it can't be more than two high charge shots. It can be ok at killing squidmechs as it can blow off arms with one charged up shot and blowing off both arms is lethal. It's damn near meta for killing crushers as it knocks off helmets in one hit and is fast at exposing many crushers in succession.For bugs. Don't.

Well, the epoch can also kill war striders in 2 shots if you just aim at the upper leg close to the crotch and the combination of projectile and explosive damage will do the job. >that's 2 shots though, RR/EAT only need 1and the epoch gets 15 total shots compared to the RR's 6. the epoch can kill 1 more war striders with a full ammo load than the recoilless can.
Another issue with the mempoch is just how pathetically TINY its explosion radius is. It's billed as being a hybrid weapon that can take out groups of enemies too, but the explosion radius is comparable to the tiny ass firecrackers that the BFGL shits out. The animation for the explosion is fucking MASSIVE but both the memepoch and BFGL drops to zero fucking damage by 4m. About the only time that you can reliably get multiple chaff kills on one hit is if you blast them while they're packed into a dropship like sardines. They spread out too much immediately upon deployment.Another example case: Vox engines are extremely vulnerable to splash damage from high AP value explosions. But not the epoch because its explosion isn't big enough to splash a bunch of the vox engine's hitboxes simultaneously.

Mainly pic related. The annoying little bunker turrets and casemate turrets that defend fortresses and command bunkers. The obnoxious little cunts that can actually aim. The epoch can kill them with one low power shot. The same goes for AAA turrets and mortars. A lower power shot to a gunship engine will kill it, and a full power shot will kill a gunship anywhere.A quasar takes forever to kill groups of those things. An anti-medium weapon like AMR/railgun/HMG is better for these smaller targets, but they choke when forced to go face to face with a tank from the front. The epoch handles both target sets. It mops up groups of softer armored targets faster than the serious AT weapons while still being able to engage super-heavies. It's just comparatively shit at both roles compared to more specialized options that do one of those roles well.Also the quasar is kind of ok vs dragon roaches. Its wings are close enough together that it actually can splash multiple hitboxes with center of mass hits. RR HE mode does this better though.
