For the OSTO devs among us, if you're smart you will try to bring your server in line with the c+ progression everyone is used to at the moment. What made C+ good is that it was very clear progression even for new players. Leveling dungeons to 65, then a select few dungeons that all helped progression. It was clear. Here I already feel lost with all the 200 dungeons in the game.Releasing Val Oriyn, SS/TS/DL dungeons and removing old or obsolete ones in OTSO right now until rework to reduce bloat and confusion could help. Anything to snipe just a fraction of the c+ userbase of ~2k+ players will be worthwhile.C+ fucked things up with the devs, but they had a good, clear vision of the game that resonated with lots of old and new people.

Why does this matter? Because even with such a limited number of dungeons and several thousand concurrent players these two retards still showed up often enough during my queueing that it made me hate the experience. Why were they repeatedly showing up? Because any private server that isn't WoW-related doesn't have the luxury of a massive playerbase.The only way that having a larger spread of dungeons would work with a small private server community would be if systems were in place that essentially forced people to run a bunch of random shit instead of target farming specific dungeons but even that would collapse if there weren't enough players to sustain it.

However there are still dungeons that anons have never done before since they weren't in C+ so those should be fun to run. There's also already new shit we've done that anons never got to experience before like Nexus and Alliance (with working Skycastles) and Vanarch soon (though that doesn't really have much going for it). There's still plenty of fun to be had, and I would not doubt that when 65 comes we'll see some returning faces come back.
