It's much less labor intensive than quests. You should consider you're never getting tier 10 renown recruits. At best you'll get them the chapter before the part ends. It's not worth it. Focus on realistic recruits, like renown 2 to 7 at the highest. It's ok, you'll play routes later where the characters with high renown you want will have lower renown requirements. (went from Dietrich to Cai and seeing Io go from renown 2 with Diet to 7 with Cai is just, man, white man beauty privilege is real) If you intended to play just Cai's route you're fucked though yes, pretty much.

It feels like the parts you use most aren't given a big size or easier access. Why are the characters and facilities in fast travel so small? Why is the calendar only allowing you to see one day at once? Why can't you just fast travel by zones instead of scrolling through every facility every time to get to the inn or the tavern? And worst of all, why is there AN ENTIRE PAGE of non interactive advertisement for the game's mechanics? If at least clicking on one of Anna's ads made you fast travel to the place, but nope? It's dead space you must scroll through until you're done playing. Whoever thought this was a good idea beyond chapter 5 part1 should be stoned.

>>582893473The problem is that part 2 and part 3 fail to deliver on any of the set-up from part 1. Most people seem to agree that most Part 1's are fine as a single route playthrough. They only fall apart in route 3/4 where the novelity wears off and the world map becomes miserable. The end game is also not well balanced for single routes because it becomes quite difficult, but becomes way to easy with all four routes. On top of the map quality nose-diving in part 3. The flaws in this game are really apparent the deeper into you get.
