Despite having an inherently slower combat system, XIV's slowness lends it much more weight than Aion 2, which feels spammy and kind of all over the place imo. The story is garbage. You get to cap by just spamming F for a few hours. All the gacha/kmmo monetization type shit you can think of is here. Enchantment success rates. Daily energy. Daily obligations. Alt leveling for aforementioned energy bs. The only redeeming factor is it's very beautiful and you can make some seriously gorgeous characters.
