They basically could summon fel hounds and imps that would die after like 30 seconds. They felt kinda over powered actually which is why necromancer is such a scary class for mmo developers. If they make minions that do damage it’s too easy to exploit. I work for blizzard on their latest forever release, and we did produce a necromancer prototype but did not include this with the beta as it would’ve been too strong compared to the other affinities. We also had a type of dark elf ranger who used powerful ranged auto shots, but that one was literally even more strong and nobody could touch it on the meters.
