Hybrid classes should rarely if ever be the "best" at any role. They should provide DPS but also some sort of utility or flex off-role support. We ain't talking giant DPS gaps (maybe 5% lower both at peak performance) but a Mage/Warlock/Rogue/Hunter should generally pump more raw DPS then a Warrior spec'd for damage or Shadow Priest.The only exception is for tanks which should all be good at tanking but provide minor differences for varieties sake. Like Warriors being better "main tanks" for raiding but Paladin and Druid having better AoE or damage when tanking.

the warrior rage thing is a total nothingburger, the nominal rage gain is still fixed to weapon speed not damage as in vanilla so the exponential scaling won't happen. Giving bonus rage to crits is effectively identical to simply increasing the amount of rage given per swing per speed by some amount, except arbitrarily tied to crit which will arbitrarily inflate the value of crit as a stat. I would have preferred if they simply increased the rage gain from weapon hits.They could have done talents for gaining extra rage just like rogues got in tbc/wotlk for energy, e.g. the combat talent that gives energy on offhand hits and the assassination talent that gave small energy gains on crits. That gives some unique character to the resource game on each spec.Either way warriors should be no better or worse than any other spec on a nominal bossfight and I say that as someone that has mained warrior since 2007.

I mained Rogue and Druid and did a lot of BG's as both the FC and flag room defender.Druids are far easier to lock down than mages since you gib them non-stop with double Crippling Poison. If they shift out of bear to cleanse it you kidney them in caster form, gouge into blind into sap to full reset and it's GG. You can vanish their roots or use imp sprint. Meanwhile a mage blinking away on the opener means I can rarely catchup to them.Druids are a complete meme in vanilla PvP and a lot of retail andies are going to find out.
