A thought that just came to me, a huge downside to the Myers rework is that nobody plays him with class anymore. I remember getting jumpscared by him stalking me half way across the map but now everyone just marches up to you in a straight line because stalking to tier 3 takes like 5 seconds now. This update proves that nobody gives a damn about anything but Japanese IPs. Nobody is talking about anything but the Nier collab, whether it be in praise or criticism. Nobody even noticed the Diablo collab. People have forgotten that Terrifier is happening, or that Slenderman is effectively confirmed. Even a low quality cosmetic collection, if rooted in the sensibilities of Japanese anime, will overpower everything else. Why are we even bothering with Western slop at this point?
