How do I enjoy the game post laning stage? Laning is really fun and dynamic and you do cool fighting and dodging and shooting. And the game before first tower falls is really awesome. But then... it gets really weird. Not fun sort of weird. You just farm, push the lanes, go for rare objectives... and to a degree it turns into a knowledge check on "what's the most valuable thing right now". Just feels weird to play every time. I'm waiting for PvE mode, I love roguelikes.
