I wish that new maelstrom modifiers would be added, the last time was after the pox gas event. Also ideally adding the captains and champions to the monster spawn pool instead of keeping all the interesting stuff hidden behind havoc. Just got back into Darktide because a buddy bought it on sale. The fuck is up with the mechanics class? Their skill tree is kinda all over the place. Top = Tank, Right = Ranged, etc and all that. The tank and Ranged spec seem pretty powerful alongside the revive support tool.

To me, having low latency only means I'm practically immune to disablers because they're easy to dodge, and playing on high ping means tanking the occasional disabler, but playing in regions with competent teammates makes that a non-issue.It's annoying, it takes getting used to, and certain builds are a nightmare to play. I can't recommend anything with fast attack speed because that feels pretty bad with any amount of desync. But anything that shoves enemies around a lot with high impact, or reasonably long reach slow weapons, like relic blade zealot or arbitrator or ogryn, or any ranged build, are fine to play on very high latency.I'm EU and I regularly play h40 on HK to avoid slavgroids. The 250+ latency takes getting used to, but having competent teammates is infinitely more important there. Darktide is a game of decision making and starts while assembling a team. Reaction time stops being as important when getting hit by the occasional trapper no longer means a team wipe because your 3 retards can't hold their own if you stop DPSing everything dead.

It's a good way to play, even up to havoc because you can't go wrong with crowd control.
